What does the ISO VG viscosity grade mean?

The ISO Viscosity Grade (VG) is a standard measurement that indicates the thickness (kinematic viscosity) of the oil at a temperature of 40°C. Are your oils miscible with other brands?

In general, mineral hydraulic oils of the same type (e.g., HLP according to DIN 51524-2) are miscible with each other. However, to ensure maximum performance and avoid additive incompatibility issues, we always strongly recommend completely draining and, if possible, cleaning the system before changing oil brands or types.
